Born in Italy in 1977, she lived most of her adult life as an expat. She is currently living in Israel, struggling to learn Hebrew and to find a decent flat in Tel Aviv. You might have crossed her in previous personae such as: awarded student at the Bologna Literature and Philosophy University, overworked photo archivist in the Parisian office of the famous Magnum Photo agency, wandering traveler in India, self-proclaimed film editor in New York, Italian teacher at the IIC, and a reporter for Demotix agency.
With this blog, she hopes to shade a light on the “Israeli experience”, as it manifests for a non-Jewish immigrant by chance. Can something be said about Israel which is a-political? Dedicated to her close and far away friends, as well as the wandering readers out there.
